It has begun. Although not until late next year, preparations have already started for the 2017 East African Safari Rally 4,000 kilometers across Kenya.
This will be the eighth time that Tuthill Porsche will compete in one of the most difficult rallies in the world, winning outright twice! The eight day event sees a variety of vehicles and teams from all across the world compete over some of the most difficult terrain there is.
EXE-TC has supplied the Tuthill Safari-spec Porsches for the last 3 rallies (2011, 2013, 2015), and will once again be preparing new sets for the cars to compete next year. These are bespoke 3-way adjustable dampers with special components and oil to withstand the heat and punishment that the suspension will be put through.
